fully responsive implementation of screen layouts covering mobile to desktop sizes, wireframe and branded styles including dark mode all with a single screen component. Completed designs were published to Zeplin for fully version-controlled hand-off for developers.

Seeking to transform the outdated Farm Bureau Insurance customer website, the existing site was utilized for user testing, customer feedback, employee surveys, and CSR interviews to gather critical data that was then synthesized into an organized catalog of critical points to consider for the rebuild.
Armed with user data, we developed personas, mapped customer journeys, and utilized a variety of exercises to prioritize the interactions our users valued. User flows, for the various portions of the application, began taking shape.

Building on an existing brand library we began developing the foundations of a design system. Variables, tokens, parameters, and components were created and utilized throughout the many screens required for the project.
Accessibility was important and WGAC 2.0 standard was achieved. With limted resources, the design was kept clean and consistent and carried over MUI components from the marketing site implementation to benefit from familiarity and maximize code-reusability. Additional icons were created to expand the existing marketing site library as well as implementing key portions of the existing design system.

The design and business requirement support was provided throughout development process; actively considering timeline and budget impacts of all decisions to enable us to deliver the best possible product with the resources available to us.
Scheduled for Q1 launch in 2026, I am excited to report on the user response and interaction improvements.

Send me a message and let's discuss your project!
